Dear Friend and Voter:

I’m running for re-election to the County Council to build a stronger Kaua`i that balances future growth with the preservation of our rural character, lifestyle, and local values that we all hold dear.

While we may come from different places and cultures and have different stories to tell, we all hold common values: our strong sense of community, our love for the natural beauty of our island, and our high quality of life. We also share the hope for a better future for our children and grandchildren.

I will use my experience as a facilitator, planner, and project manager to create a stronger and more vibrant Kaua’i and to:

▪ Create jobs for a strong and diversified economy;

▪ Address infrastructure needs that have not kept pace with growth;

▪ Manage our future growth;

▪ Preserve the natural beauty and honor our culture of Kaua`i;

▪ Build upon our public transportation system;

▪ Promote locally grown food and alternative energy;

▪ Improve parks and recreational activities; and

▪ Increase the range of housing opportunities for Kaua`i’s residents.

I respectfully ask for your vote. If re-elected, I pledge to listen to you, seek solutions, and continue

working for a better Kaua`i.
