Aloha!

November 14, 2020

Dear Friend and Neighbor,
Thank you so much for your support in the General Election. It's an incredible privilege to serve District 14 (Wailua~Hāʻena), the island of Kaua'i, and State of Hawai'i, for a third term.

I'm proud of what we've accomplished this past year despite a devastating pandemic, civil unrest, and a country divided by politics. I know we will get through these challenging times with understanding, kindness, compassion, and cooperation. There is much healing and much work to do.

I’ve been asked to chair the Housing Committee by House Speaker Scott Saiki, which will be a new challenge after having served on the Finance, Health, and Human Services & Homelessness Committees. I will continue to advocate for your needs, seek solutions, and work for a better Hawai'i!

The state legislature convenes in mid-January 2021. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call me at (808) 586-8435 or email my office at repnakamura@capitol.hawaii.gov.

Mahalo piha,
